Kalaburagi Police
The District is headquarter for North Eastern Range Office and is headed by Inspector General of Police. The North Eastern range comprises of KALABURAGI, YADGIR and BIDAR Districts.
The District Police Force is headed by Superintendent Police. Under him there are 06 Sub-Divisions, 10 Circles and 39 Police Station’s. The District Police Force is also one of the largest in the District with a total strength of Personnel’s Superintendent of Police-1, Addl.Superintendent of Police-1, DSP-8, Police Inspector/Circle Police Inspectors-27, PI FPB-1, Police Inspector Wireless-1, RPI-2, Police Sub Inspector’s-58, Police Sub Inspector Wireless-4, RSI-6, ASI Wireless-9, ASI/WASI’s-99, ARSI’s-15, CHC’s-438, HC Wireless-16, AHC’s-99, CPC’s-1375, PC Wireless-7, APC’s-476.
Kalaburagi district also has an Police Training centre, and is situated at about 3 km from Gulbarga city It has been built at a total cost of Rs.19.50 crores and occupies 94 acres of land.
